It is the body of infinite heat capacity which can absorbed or reject infinite amount of heat without any change in its thermodynamic properties.

These are of two types

2. Sink

It is a body of infinite heat capacity which can reject infinite amount of heat without any change in its thermodynamic properties.

e.g. combustion chamber where fuel is continuously burning.

2. Sink

Sink is a body of infinite heat capacity which can absorb infinite amount of heat without any change in its thermodynamic properties.

e.g. atmosphere.
